Dr Warren C.W Latham is a certified orthopaedic surgeon with the Royal College of physicians of Canada and licensed to practice In the province of Ontario. Dr Latham completed his undergraduate degree at Queen’s University in Life Sciences, before returning home to complete his Medical Doctorate at the University of British Columbia.
Dr Latham completed his orthopaedic surgery training at tthe University of Toronto in 2006, during 2006-2008 he completed both hip and knee, as well as foot and ankle reconstruction fellowships a the University of Toronto.
Currently Dr Latham is engaged in a Masters Program at Oxford University designed for the practicing surgeon to become an expert in quality improvement.
Dr Latham has been a staff surgeon at SHN (the Scarborough health network) since 2007, and is currently the lead surgeon of the foot and ankle program and has trained numerous residents and fellows from the University of Toronto in his role as Clincal Adjucnt professor, and Foot and Ankle Fellowship supervisor.
Dr Latham sits on the executive of the Canadian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society , as well as the Canadian Orthopaedic Association. He lectures at a national level, and has lectured as a visiting scholar. His primary research interest lies in advancing surgical techniques in minimally invasive foot surgery.
He is a consultant for several orthopaedic companies including Wright Medical, Conmed linvatec and Zimmer/Biomet, and has authored expert medic legal opinions on foot and ankle surgery for both plaintiffs and defendants.
